Charcoal-Grilled Lamb Chops @ Lebanon's Café
These are small New Zealand racks of lamb, marinated in something with an herbal, smoky-spicy flavor that makes them exceedingly tender. The rack is cut into chops and then seared on an open charcoal grill, giving the same smoky deliciousness you get from a Bud's Broiler hamburger, but with a much better subject. The six or seven chops come out with hummus (which makes an odd but excellent sauce) and a salad for right around $20--a major bargain.
