Andouille-Crusted Oysters @ Creole Grille
The food at the Creole Grille is unexpectedly good, particularly among its appetizers. Among the best of those was an amuse-bouche of andouille crusted oysters the chef sent us one night. After eating one, I called for a full order in addition to the tasting plate. In a way, it was like oysters en brochette, with the finely-chopped, spicy andouille pinch-hitting for the bacon.
