The controversy has gone on for many decades: which is better, the thick fish at Middendorf's, or the thin? I say the thick, because it's about as thick as I remember the thin fish being when I first started eating there. The important thing is that all the catfish here comes from smaller fish, which for catfish is a very good thing. I wish they made better hush puppies.
