500BestSquareHamburger @ Lakeview Harbor

DishStars_3
The most popular dish in America has a strong following in New Orleans, regionalism notwithstanding. The handmade hamburgers at Lakeview Harbor are made from fresh chuck, grilled until palpably crusty on the outside, and a juicy as one wishes every hamburger was. Best of all, they don’t serve it on a bun so enormous that the grilled ground beef is hidden. The only thing wrong with the place is that there’s often a wait for a table.

About Lakeview harbor. . I’ve been twice in the past year or so, including once in October. Can’t say I had the problems you report, and callers to the radio show don’t, either. (Had two of them yesterday.) This is not to say your opinion is wrong, just that I don’t think this is a trend.
