Since the beginning, K-Paul’s has always had a full bakery in house that makes all the bread for the restaurant. Lots of different kinds appear in the basket, but the one everybody remembers is the jalapeno cornbread. It’s everything you’d want from a cornbread muffin–and then there’s the heat of the pepper. A bit of cheese in there mellows things out. I can’t imagine that any of these make any more than a one-way tip to the tables.
