Raw And Grilled Oysters @ The Chimes
Aside from the view of the Bogue Falaya River and its surrounding cypress wetlands, the best part of eating at The Chimes is its oyster operation. They have clearly latched onto an excellent supplies and some good shuckers. Whether you get them raw or grilled, they’re always perfect. The sauce on the grilled oysters diverge from the standard Drago’s-inspired version by having a spicy, light-tan sauce that reminds me of a meuniere.
