    I would LOVE the recipe for “Cheese Pie” from Tortorici’s on Royal. Some 47 years ago we ate there while on our Honeymoon. I have never had a better dessert. I know they are closed, but would really like to get this recipe if possible. Thank you!

      It’s really hard to come up with recipes from a restaurant that closed a long time ago (nine years), or that changed owners drastically. Even harder when the dish is something unique. I’ve never heard of cheese pie.

      But I may have a solution. I’ll bet you misread the name. It was probably “chess pie,” which is sort of a like a pecan pie without the pecas. There are thousands of recipes for that on line. Look some of those over, and see whether they sound like what you remember.
