500BestSquareThai-Coon @ La Thai Cuisine

DishStars-4
The name is a reference to owner Diana Chauvin’s Cajun family connections. She is half Thai, half Cajun. She honors their heritage with the best Thai restaurant in the New Orleans area. This dish also taps into the Cajun flavor palette. It’s basically Thai stir-fry with basil and garlic and crawfish and shrimp as the main ingredients. Spicy, of course.

Yesterday I stopped for lunch at antoines. Ordered the $20 buck lunch, and everything was good (the Oysters bon femme was great.
appetizer– I had the oysters three ways– was terrible.
The sauces were gooey and gloppy and all tasted the same.
the oysters lay in pools of water at the bottom of the shell. Why do you suppose they even let these things out of the kitchen? Is there a consistency problem at the restaurant?
