Batata Harra @ Phoenicia
This is a little-seen Middle Eastern side dish that more such restaurants should serve. It's hard to imagine they'd be better elsewhere than at this fine Metairie restaurant, where the shredded potatoes are grilled with garlic, herbs, pepper and olive oil. The words mean "spicy potatoes," and that about captures it.
