Squid-Ink Spaghetti With Crabmeat @ Domenica
I have not been as generally impressed by the pasta dishes at Domenica as by the Naples-style pizza, but this dish stands out. The pasta displays the usual visual shock presented by its dark blackness. It also carries a flavor from the cephalopods--something that colored pastas rarely do. The presence of the brilliant white crabmeat is also something to see. They toss it all with a little arugula. Great launch to a dinner or as a lunch entree.
