The regular hosts of the Food Show have left it in capable hands this week, Yesterday the guest host was Ali Lofton, who has good-naturedly accepted a nickname from a caller and is now referred to as The Kooky Oyster Broad, took the helm of the show yesterday just to have fun. Ali is the owner with her husband and his brother of Loftin Oysters.
Ali is excited (and who isn’t?) about the Fête des Fromage this weekend. She talked to some reps from the French American Chamber of Commerce Gulf Coast chapter about this fantastic festival in its second year. And it's time for Beaujolais Nouveau!
And Liz Thorpe brought in some cheese for tasting. Liz is originally from Kentucky, but grew Murray’s in NYC into the cheese phenom it is.
