What is happening? The second day in a row we had callers waiting for us to start the show. There was a discussion of animal parts that I found uncomfortable, ending in a brief chat about the new Rockrose and its adventuresome eating night, Monday. There was more talk of hamburgers, eliciting protestations from Tom, especially when “The Impossible Burger” at Copper Vine got a positive review. Is there nothing sacred?
We gave a restaurant report on Vera’s where we went for lunch and were mightily impressed. A list of good sandwiches was proffered in response to a sandwich conversation a few days ago. The topics today that garnered no calls included which restaurants have the best holiday decorations, and does food taste better if eaten from holiday ware?
It was a whirlwind show that went by in what seemed like minutes.
