White tablecloth chefs share a hidden passion for barbecue, it would seem,  judging by the number of them gravitating to the smoker. Tomorrow night, Chef Marcus Woodham at the sophisticated Bar Frances will don his apron and grab his tongs to host Ribs’N’Rose, a much-awaited event for one night only.  He will be pairing his ribs with La Closerie des Lys Les Fruitieres Rose, and three pretty gourmet sides will be offered:

Shell-n-cheese

Taleggio, Roasted Garlic, Oregano, and Thyme

Braised Collard Greens

Ham Hocks, Peach Pepper Vinegar

Napa Cabbage Slaw

Rose and Lime Vinaigrette

Price is  $19, plus tax and gratuity. for an individual plate, or bring friends for a family-style affair. $7 for a glass of the La Closerie des Lys Les Fruitieres Rose, or $28 for a bottle.
