The show Friday was a hodgepodge of chatter starting with my college friend Eric, with whom I have had many spirited discussions about food. This time he called about barbecue and hamburgers, and we compared Blue Oak and Central City to Frey. The mention of hamburgers spawned a few calls on that subject. And we talked about food on the gulf coast.
Thanksgiving was also part of the round-up. Again. But this time it was centered around a Harris poll that revealed that 30% of people have four things on a Thanksgiving buffet that they wish wasn’t there. Most were predictable, but there was one surprise. And not at all surprising, 40% of millennials would have a completely different menu for the big day.
We finished the show with a discussion of R’evolution, spurred on my report on a happy hour I had there the previous day.
