The Crescent City Blues and Barbecue Festival Starts today, Friday 5-8:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 11-8:30pm at Lafayette Square Park, brought to us by the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
Here is a serious and pretty renown group of artists at this 14th annual event, but there is no shortage of great barbecue as well. Look for Central City Barbecue, the Joint, LA 23 Smokehouse, Walker’s BBQ, and Gonzo’s Smokehouse and BBQ, but also festival regulars like Voleo’s and Vaucresson Sausage, and Brats Ya’ll. Also Cocoa & Cream Catering and Cafe Dauphine. Desserts too, from Loretta’s Authentic Pralines, Old School Eats, Crepes a la Cart and Quintin’s Natural Ice Cream.
