The show roared from the beginning yesterday because Tom had a report on what we did that morning. He spoke at Career Day for Jesuit, and there was much to tell. From there we went to District Donuts in Lakeview for a small breakfast, so we had a restaurant report.
And then it was on to the almanac, where we jumped into the subject of snacks since it was National Corn Chip Day. We somehow landed on Charles Chips, sparking reminiscences from Gregory of that iconic brand, and all of us wondering if it was still around.
It was also Louisiana Caviar Day, sparking a discussion of Cajun Caviar, and our wedding, where it was abundantly served.
