Kenner is not known for lavish galas and great food, so when one happens out there it is worthwhile to take note. The 9th Annual Kenner Wine and Food Event benefits the Fore Kids Foundation, which has been helping to fund children’s service organizations through golf events since 1958.
Thursday, October 10th is the date, and it runs from 6:30pm to 9:30pm poolside in a lovely setting at Chateau Country Club. It features some great restaurants like Mr. John’s, Vincent’s, Austin’s, and Desi Vega’s, as well as some Kenner favorites like Messina’s, and Casa Garcia. Some old institutions like Pascal’s Manale, and Galatoire’s, and Acme Oyster House. And new institutions like Drago’s. There are many other places we love in this lineup, and hundreds of great wines and bubbly, with music by Groovy 7.
Tickets are $85 pre-sale, and $95 General Admission.
