Now For Something Different

The annual Reveillon dinners are a nod to longstanding tradition, but a few of them are very contemporary. Some are even unique. Costera, the Spanish-inspired restaurant on Prytania, has just released its Reveillon menu, which celebrates the connection our city has to its Spanish heritage. And it’s affordably-priced at four courses for $45. The menu is below:

1st (choice of)

Beef Shank and Potato Bomba with Pickled Peppers

Shrimp, Fontina and Leek Stuffed Mushrooms

Jamon Iberico with Arugula and Almonds

2nd (choice of)

Shrimp and Chorizo Soup with Potatoes and Greens

Charred Romaine with Jamon Serrano and Sardines

Roasted Cauliflower with Pickled Raisins and Hazelnuts

3rd (choice of)

Petite Filet and Rapini a la Plancha

Gulf Fish a la Plancha with Capers, Lemon, and Sourdough

Seared Pork Belly with Apple, Chili, and Walnut

Dessert (choice of)

Almond Tart with Buttermilk Ice Cream

Chocolate Terrine with Dulce de Leche

This out-of-the-ordinary Reveillon will be served alongside the regular menu at Costera. It is available until the end of this month.
