The radio show was plagued by headset issues. Somehow, my headset has dropped enough times to become a crumpled heap of nothing. It used to be useable by holding it to my hear when we got a caller, a rarity anyway. But Tom keeps his headsets so loud I can usually hear a caller though his. Not so much today, so naturally we got some calls. The subject was Shepherd’s Pie and a little about Velveeta and American cheese, on the 1874 birthday in of James Lewis Kraft, founder of the iconic American cheese company. But mostly we talked about sandwiches, a subject inspired by the Cubano that Tom had for lunch at the fat Spoon Cafe.
