It was slow going on the show today, as we tried to reestablish our groove. Tom has been out two days, and me, four. We got no help from callers, getting only two calls at the end of the show. It was quite a wide spectrum of topics, meaning we ran through the entire almanac. That’s the sure sign of a slow show. We talked brownies, Popeye the Sailor Man, retail therapy, and wondered why it is so hard to find a good bagel in this town. Also, how much beautiful holiday china can improve one’s holiday. No one called to validate that opinion, but I remain firmly committed to the theory.
