Eat Club Is Back!

If there is one question we hear above all others it is, “When is the next Eat Club?” It has been a long time, but we want to get back to doing these wonderfully social events. And what better opportunity than to start with one of the city’s most iconic restaurants?

Horst and Karen Pfeifer have sent us a fabulous menu that samples a wide spectrum of what they do, for the favored Eat Club price of $75 all-inclusive. And it’s at the new Slidell location, so if you haven’t seen it yet, you are in for a treat. It will still be a treat if you have.

The place is beautiful, a true labor of love between owners Horst and Karen, who each contributed some of their own personally hoarded items to make an impressive design statement. When we say hoarding, we mean in Horst’s case, 1,000-year-old sinker cypress slabs that are quite stunning in their refinished state. And Horst wrestled some of Karen’s personal stash of old buoy’s from her, to create the absolute perfect environment for this renowned fried seafood.

The menu for this event could not be better. It is a true sampling of their signature everything.
