Join Us For A Unique Dinner
Eat Club @ Salon By Sucre. March 21. $75 per person, inclusive.
French Quarter: 622 Conti.
The Eat Club investigates one of the many new restaurants that opened in the French Quarter in recent months. This one is a unique offshoot of Sucre, the producer of a spread of brilliant pastries, cookies, candies, and desserts, all produced under the masterful hand of Chef Tariq Hanna. That will be showcased in the dessert course, which is preceded by five savory creations. The appetizers and entrees are distinctly familiar and in season. You won't doubt that you're in the French Quarter, with representation from Italy, the world of seafood, and country-style eats like beef short ribs.
Here's the menu in detail:
Gravlax
Louisiana paddlefish caviar, crème fraiche
Caprese Salad
Buratta, roasted tomato compote, basil aioli
Seared Scallop
OPUS white chocolate pomme puree, bacon jam
“Lazy Ravioli”
Braised shortribs, ricotta, jus
"Some Chocolate”
Textures, Temperatures, Flavors
