No French Quarter Festival This Spring? GW Fins Can Help

Written by Mary Ann Fitzmorris March 23, 2020 09:01 in Happenings

So many New Orleans festivals have been postponed GW Fins would like to help everyone who will miss some favorite dishes.

GW Fins’ Executive Chef Michael Nelson got some fabulous fresh lobster, so he will be serving their New Orleans Po-Boy Festival “Best of Show Winner,” their Lobster Po-Boy ($17). It's flash-fried lobster tossed in Crystal hot sauce butter and is served with remoulade slaw and house-made sweet potato chips.

They'll also be serving another French Quarter Festival favorite, the GW Fins Salty Malty Sundae ($6). A spin on GW Fins’ popular Salty Malty Pie, this sundae is made with Homemade Caramel Ice Cream, crushed pretzel bits,  a dollop of whipped malted cream and a drizzle of caramel.

Supply on both dishes is limited and orders can be placed by phoning the restaurant at 581.3467 beginning at 11am.  Orders will be available to pick up via Curbside Pickup at GW Fins (808 Bienville Street, between Bourbon and Dauphine) from 4:30-7pm.

NOTE: Order early means order early. Available only till they run out.
