French Truck, the first and best of the local artisan coffee roaster, has just released its Mardi Gras blend, called Big Chief, is a unique blend of beans from El Salvador, Ethiopia, and Brazil. This year’s Carnival blend includes notes of toffee, plum, orange liqueur, and dark chocolate, resulting in a creamy, rich and satisfying taste.
The Big Chief is only available through Mardi Gras, it comes in 12 oz bags that can be ground on-site to your specifications, or in whole beans for you to grind yourself. It sells for $16.50 a bag, with a portion of sales going to BeLite504, an after school youth program powered by BMIKE and Studio Be.
