It had to happen. What about those people without a significant other for the special day of l’amour? Good news, we now have Galentine’s Day. There are a few places around town featuring a pals hangout in lieu of a romantic dinner. At the wildly popular Jack Rose it’s its own special day, and that is Thursday, February 13th. In addition to the regular dinner menu, specialty brunch items like the glitter Chicken and Waffles (picture by Sienna Viette) will be available. Wagyu beef flank steak and eggs and crawfish and grits as well as a Mile High Pie Waffle. And Veuve Clicquot Bottle Specials: yellow label $50 and rosé for $65. Reservations are encouraged.
