The Grill Room has a surprisingly modest-priced menu for its version of the Reveillon, but the choices are also a bit limited. The four courses are $55, with two choices per course. The first course offers an utterly Louisiana menu statement of Quail with Boudin Stuffing, Sweet Potato Mousse, Pecans, and Cane Syrup, or Gulf Shrimp with Zesty Red Pepper Butter, Louisiana Citrus and Radishes and Mint. Decisions get tougher in the next course. Choose from Sweet Onion Bisque with Truffle Crab Meat and Chives, or a Lyonnaise Salad with Frisee Lettuce, Poached Egg, Crispy Pork Belly and Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette, Entrees are Redfish with Crawfish Fricassee with Shimeji and Cauliflower, Charred Okra, Corn Purée, or Beef Strip with Roasted Asparagus, Potato Pavé, Caramelized Cipollini, and Bordelaise. Choose a dessert from Spiced Pear Galette with Pecan Streusel, Butter Pecan Ice Cream, and Red Wine Coulis, or Peppermint Bark Cheesecake with Chocolate Wafer Crust, White and Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark.
