Grilled Quail And Lamb Chops @ Gallagher's Grill
Pat Gallagher has featured this unusual combination in every one of this restaurants over the years. The two flavors are naturals together--if you can eat that much food. The standard version of it these days involved two thick lamb chops and two whole quail, crusty from a walk across the grill and sizzling in butter. The latter is relatively new, an idea Pat picked up after spending a few years at Ruth's Chris. It's the kind of entree for those looking the break away from the commonplace proteins like chicken and beef.
