If anyone needs an additional reason to go to the delicious Bucktown eatery Station 6, chefs Allison Vega Knoll and husband Drew Knoll have rolled out a new menu for the new year.


Half a dozen new items have joined the all-star lineup here. They are:


Starters: Seasonal smoked dip with pita chips, or Southern shrimp and corn chowder with a biscuit.


Sandwiches: Crispy shrimp roll on a brioche bun, and a Bucktown Reuben with crispy oysters, “collard-kraut”, provolone and 6 sauce. 


Salad: Ali’s wedge is a new salad with little gems, smoked bacon, chopped eggs, pickled red onion, tomato, blue cheese dressing, Crystal glaze, and onion straws.


Entrees: Two new entrees in this menu are Chargrilled Redfish on the half shell with vegetables and Parmesan toast, and the Station Pasta with bbq Gulf shrimp, capellini and biscuits. 


Dessert: Just one new dessert here, but it’s a good one. Chocolate peanut butter doberge with ganache.
