Your Jazz Fest Lineup

In typical New Orleans fashion, as we are learning with the shutdown, when you take away the fun, Orleanians still find a way to have fun. It’s unimaginable that one of New Orleans’ most essential parties could be cancelled, and yet, today kicks off Day One of the Jazz Festival that wasn’t.

We’ve been posting all week with several caterers serving up your festival favorites so you can still have your yearly taste of New Orleans Festival flavor. Might not be a bad plan to order a bit extra to freeze to take you through a long year ahead…

You can start off the weekend immediately by grabbing a to-go Bloody Mary at Liuzza’s at the Track while you choose what to order from these places:

Two of the most famous Fest vendors have teamed up to bring you the full experience (minus the crowds, of course). Caluda’s Cottage Catering and Kajun Kettle Foods will be popping up together in the Mahoney’s PoBoys parking lot at 901 Iberville St. from 3PM-7PM this weekend, 4/24-4/26, and next, 5/1-5/3. In one drive thru stop, you’ll be able to get Crawfish Strudel, White Chocolate Bread Pudding, and the original Crawfish Monica.

You’ll need to order 24 hours in advance, so get those orders in today. Everything will be served cold, and can be reheated throughout the weekend. Order through the Cottage Catering site here.

Pick up items from one these caterers and feast on the fest for the whole week!
