[title type="h3"]Justin, Landmark Wines @ Antoine's Dinner, Oct. 29[/title]
Two kicky wines from California--one of them with an obsession for geometrical figures--will flow amidst six courses at a wine dinner at Antoine's, on Thursday, October 29. It sounds like a good evening form every perspective.
The food is classic Antoine's fare, including a dish we don't see very ovften: filet mignon Alciatore, whose sauce is a brown affair riddled with caramelized pineapple. As odd as that sounds--beef and sweet stuff son't often come together--this is as good a dish as it is an old one.
The wines come from Justin Winery (in Paso Robles, south of San Francisco) and Landmark Vineyards (made in Sonoma County). I've enjoyed both wines, although I haven't encountered them lately. Here's the whole menu:
