EatingNowSquare [title type="h3"]Justin, Landmark Wines @ Antoine's Dinner, Oct. 29[/title] Two kicky wines from California--one of them with an obsession for geometrical figures--will flow amidst six courses at a wine dinner at Antoine's, on Thursday, October 29. It sounds like a good evening form every perspective. The food is classic Antoine's fare, including a dish we don't see very ovften: filet mignon Alciatore, whose sauce is a brown affair riddled with caramelized pineapple. As odd as that sounds--beef and sweet stuff son't often come together--this is as good a dish as it is an old one. Antoines-TableForEight The wines come from Justin Winery (in Paso Robles, south of San Francisco) and Landmark Vineyards (made in Sonoma County). I've enjoyed both wines, although I haven't encountered them lately. Here's the whole menu:
