The Day Before.
I am on vacation starting today--sort of. In lieu of my normal routine, I spent the entire day filling gaps left by my absence from both the radio and the web. Mary Ann busied herself with cleaning up the house and arranging with our across-the-street neighbor the feeding of our animals. (She has chickens and horses in addition to dogs, so we feel secure that she will take care of it.)
The kiddos spent the day running around town together. Mary Ann loves them to do that, so excuses them from all jobs, including packing to leave town tomorrow. The two of us contented ourselves with eating from the refrigerator, with the supply of Nor-Joe salumi and cheeses still holding up nicely.
