Valentine's Day.
We took my advice and didn't really go out to dinner tonight, even though doing so is practically required by law. But for once our anniversary activities have her satisfied. So we just stayed home and picked at the food in the refrigerator.
When I called the radio station to set up the feed from the Cool Water Ranch, I spoke with someone other than Mindy, my producer. Mindy was out with the flu, she told me, as were a lot of other people at the station. I'm glad I haven't been there since last Thursday. I think I'll call all the guests for tomorrow's program and postpone their appearances, as much to keep from infecting them as to allow me to stay home at least another day.
