Monster Poor Boy.
The loss of all that time last evening account of the computer problem put me behind schedule. I was planning on going to town to move the vacation commercials into the system, but had to remain home just to finish the recording. All day long I was on edge.
On the other hand, we had an unusually busy, delightful radio show. I guess people didn't want to talk about the Saints.
I didn't dine out at all. The Marys had their 2474th meal at La Carreta, as ML went back across the lake for her ever-growing residence over there. She is having a great time at the studios of designer and sculptor Luis Colmenares, who has entrusted real, live projects to her. I know why. My daughter has a keen eye and the kind of patience that an artist needs to make things perfect.
That I may be fed, Mary Ann offered to pick up something. I don't have time to cook, and roast beef poor boys were on my mind (I published a top-dozen list of them today). She brought me a sammidge from Monster Po-Boys in Mandeville. It hit the spot twice: the first half today, the other tomorrow. It's amazing what a pass through a hot oven right before the eating can do to even a day-old sandwich!
