[title type="h3"]Taste Of Summer Begins In Emeril's Restaurants. Today: NOLA.[/title]
All three of Emeril's New Orleans restaurants rolled out their summer menus a few weeks ago, leading the charge into the distressingly slack weeks of August and September. This is, of course, great news for avid dinbers. Each of the restaurants offers a different menu, but for the same price: $45 for four courses. Also available is a wine-pairing option. Here's the summer menu for Emeril's NOLA in the French Quarter:
Street Style Duck Wings Roasted corn, cilantro, sriracha aioli ~or~
Wood Oven Roasted Oysters Lemon, bacon, parmesan breadcrumbs ~~~~~
Herb & Citrus Cured Salmon Fig, honey, Greek yogurt, farro berry salad ~or~
Shoots Salad Sunflower shoots, queso fresco, orange, radish, tangerine oil ~~~~~
Honey-Sesame Glazed Snapper Grilled bok choy, roasted chanterelle mushrooms, jicama, pickled shiitake mushrooms, truffle soy broth ~or~
Grilled Lamb Rack Covey Rise succotash, curry roasted squash, preserved lemon, mint feta cheese ~~~~~
Abita Root Beer Float Cake Root anglaise, vanilla ice cream, milk crumble ~or~
Alabama Peach Hand Pies Brown butter glaze, raspberry sorbet, peach coulis ~~~~~
The only two asterisks that attach to the above say that you can't get this deal for a private banquet, and that the menu will change as summer wears on and the availability of fresh ingredients remains in its usual flux.
