Pasta With Three Exotic Mushrooms @ Maple Street Cafe
This dish--available as either an appetizer or an entree--looks and sounds too simple to be as good as it is. The mushrooms (the menu claims that they're wild, but they're not, really) are usually portobello, shiitake, and criminis, cooked down in a sauce made mostly of veal stock and dry Marsala. The flavor of this is wonderful, though. A nice light supper, it qualifies as a vegan dish.
