Praline bacon goes back to the earliest days of Elizabeth's, when it was primarily a breakfast place. Slabs of smoky bacon, topped with a crusty glaze of brown sugar, are brought to a sizzle in a quick broil, then sliced it thick before frying. One bite is convincing: this stuff is so good that almost nobody who eats here misses it. It shows up not only at weekend brunch but also here and there on the lunch and dinner menus.
