Friday’s show started without Tom for the second day in a row. This time he had a good excuse. He was tied up in production. The first topic was Fettuccine Alfredo and all things pasta in a cream sauce. This was followed by a call about Leonardo’s Trattoria in Mandeville.
All of this was interspersed with a report about the extraordinarily fabulous party at Broussard’s the previous night, kicking off their centennial year celebration. And we took more calls from people wishing Tom a belated happy birthday. Ron the Gourmet Waiter called with a special poem he created for Tom’s birthday.
We also talked of steaks at Pascal’s Manale and our plans to celebrate Tom’s birthday belatedly at his favorite restaurant, Antoine’s.
