On The Radio...

Yesterday’s show reminded me of the old days when I sat in Tom’s chair only once a year for two days when he was off at Manresa. I went solo, and it’s hard to go back to that when you’re used to having someone to talk to. This solo thing hones the skills.

I was late because there was an inexplicable mid-afternoon fog-free rolling convoy that went for 12 miles, so I got to the studio at 3:15, where Gregory Brown, a regular caller on the show, had only one Beaujolais Nouveau for us to taste, and one regular Beaujolais. Both were fine, though everyone is familiar with Georges Duboeuf.
