Cafe Degas

The French touch espoused by this long-running bistro shows in its Reveillon offering. So does generosity, given the $42 prix fixe price--long one of the best values in the Reveillon marketplace. I like the touch of serving a glass port at the end, especially if it's a chilly Reveillon night. Last year this was one of the most avidly-attended new Reveillon dinners, so it mught be a goodidea to get a reservation well in advance.

Four courses, $42.

Duck Confit Salad Haricots verts, mushroom, mizuna, citrus fruits, and raspberry vinaigrette Savory Crab and Andouille Cheesecake Rack of Lamb with Merguez Ratatouille of vegetables Chocolate Pot de Crème Lagniappe Glass of Ruby Port

We'll feature one every day throughout the Reveillon season, which runs in most of the Reveillon restaurants until December 31.The snowflake ratings are for the Reveillon menu, not the restaurant in general. Dishes marked with the snowflake symbol ✽ are my recommendations. [divider type=""]
