Delmonico

The Reviellon Begins tomorrow and runs until the end of the month. Come back tomorrow with not only an introduction to the Reveillon, what it means, and why it's the best eating festival of the year. That, plus recommendations for the best Reveillon menus and the best dishes on those menu. All 49 of them! Delmonico's attendance during the Reveillon season has been erratic, but it's always nice to have the 1895-vintage restaurant in the mix. Its dining rooms have the right look for the season, and there's a conviviality among the regulars. (There are some; they tend to be near or at the bar in the early hours of the evening.)

FULL REVIEW

All the Reveillon menus can be perused here. We'll feature one every day throughout the Reveillon season, which runs in most of the Reveillon restaurants until December 31.The snowflake ratings are for the Reveillon menu, not the restaurant in general. Dishes marked with the snowflake symbol ✽ are my recommendations.
