Andrea's
Chef Andrea has long indulged in creating special menus for just about any special day on the calendar. He has taken a strong interest in the Reveillon season, even when his was one of very few Reveillon menus available outside New Orleans proper. (Andrea's is in Metairie.) The menu is unusual in being dominated by fall game dishes--duck, venison, rabbit, and pheasant all appear as specials (no menu is ever big enough to hold all the things Chef Andrea has a mind to cook). Wild mushrooms from the woods are always here. Such things are very traditional in Northern Italy this time of year. The price of the Reveillon here has come down since last year, to $58 for four courses. Also exceptional is that Andrea's will serve the Reveillon menu on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's day. (The only problem is getting a table on those days. I can tell you that it's full on Christmas eve.Four courses from $58

We'll feature one every day throughout the Reveillon season, which runs in most of the Reveillon restaurants until December 31.The snowflake ratings are for the Reveillon menu, not the restaurant in general. Dishes marked with asterisks are my recommendations. [divider type=""]
