Average.
Mary Leigh's boyfriend came to spend a few days with us at the Cool Water Ranch, but we saw very little of the kids as they spent the day gadding about. Keeping me busy was a full three-house radio show on WWL. Mary Ann and I had talked about going back to the Gulf Coast to try another restaurant, but it looked like rain, and neither of us could get motivated.
We wound up having dinner at the Camellia Café. The place seems finally to have found its niche. It was nearly full--the busiest we'd ever seen here. We split a half-dozen grilled oysters and a seafood platter.
Thus endeth the most average of days.
