[title type="h3"] Six Courses With Drouhin Burgundies All Night, Galatoire's 33[/title]
Tomorrow night (Wednesday, September 9, 7 p.m.) Galatoire's 33 Bar & Steak is dishing up a very alluring dinner of the wines of Joseph Drouhin, one of the major names in Burgundy. And we're not talking about Burgundy Street, either. These are some spectacular wines, starting with a bubbly and heading down the ancestral homes of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Indeed, I'm surprised at what's coming for the $125 inclusive price. Dadnabbit, I might have to see if I can get a reservation for it.
The food will not be poison, either. Here is an assortment of the flavors of Galatoire's, with as many new dishes as are old. Again, the more I look at this, the better it sounds. The venue is the handsome add-on restaurant to the city's most revered classic restaurant. I'm not sure whether it will be in the new private rooms or the steakhouse area, both of which are quite comfortable.
I'm sure this will be a sellout. And it's tomorrow. Maybe I'll see you there.
