Everyday.
Everybody deserves an ordinary day once in awhile, and today was mine. More rain--an everyday occurrence for the last six weeks. Spent the first half of the day working on irregular projects, the leading one of which is fiddling around with a format for a new restaurant guidebook. Even though Zagat will come out with its first edition in four years this holiday season, I am leaning towards going ahead with my approach to the project.
When the two of us became hungry late in the afternoon, we went to our default restaurant (Zea) and ate the default meal (hummus, Caesar salad, grilled redfish). I asked--not for the first time--why Zea can't seem to find any tuna when every other restaurant I've been to lately seems to have no problem doing so. Working without tuna eliminates the fantastic tuna stack Zea has featured every summer for the past few years, as well as their great Asian tuna salad. Who made that decision?
