Am I Normal? Ho-Hum, Let's Go To Zea.

I tried to pretend that this was a normal day, but after six hours in the ER yesterday it was hard not to think about what's the matter with me. I took a walk and tried to cut the grass. (The tractor's battery was dead, so I didn't succeed.)

So Mary Ann and I went out to lunch at Zea. Salads. Mine was the house salad, a bunch of interesting lettuces with the Asian vinaigrette, whose flavors include something nutty (peanuts?) and soy sauce, among other things. Very good. Wish they had tuna. Can't figure out why they don't.

This is surely the only food diary that gives the writer's blood pressure numbers, but I was assured by people I talked with at the Eat Club dinner last night (in real time: as usual, this entry comes out a few days after the day it reports) that they were actually interested. Today, thanks to a tiny new pill, I am back down to my normal numbers, around 140/90. Which is higher than it ought to be. But a lot better than yesterday's.
