Thursday Brunch? Friday? Monday?

Atchafalaya--whose dinner service makes it one of the best of the Uptown gourmet bistros--quickly gathered a strong crowd of regulars when it began offering Sunday brunch a few years ago. So strong, in fact, that thaty've added days ever since. Starting this week, the only days you can't have brunch at the city's only five-a restaurant are Tuesday and Wednesday. Owners/newlyweds Tony Tocco and Rachel Jaffe and their brilliant chef Chris Lynch are there the rest of the week with this menu:

Eggs Treme
Boudin cake, poached eggs, popcorn crawfish, hollandaise

Eggs Louisianne
Crab cake, poached eggs, with creole hollandaise

The Boudreaux
Sunny side eggs, alligator sausage, jalapeño corn bread, crystal potatoes, creole hollandaise

Duck Hash
Duck confit, blackberries, mangos, poached eggs, hollandaise, bacon vinaigrette

Eggs Benedict
Canadian bacon, poached eggs, English muffin, hollandaise

Louisiana Crab Omelette
Cream cheese, spinach, truffle

Eggs Atchafalaya
Fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, jumbo lump crab, hollandaise

French Toast
Bananas foster topping

Fruit & Granola
Housemade granola, seasonal fruit, vanilla yogurt

Huevos Rancheros
Eggs on a grilled tortilla, refried beans, salsa creole, chorizo

Louisiana Crab Salad
Pancetta, pecans, peaches with pineapple ginger vinaigrette

Baby Romaine Salad
Cucumber, cherry tomatoes, ciabatta croutons, buttermilk feta dressing

Fried Green BLT
Pork belly, fried green tomatoes, and microgreens on a toasted baguette

Steak Sandwich
Flank steak, mixed greens, tomatoes, boursin cheese, roasted red pepper aioli

Grits and Grillades
Veal cutlets, Creole mushroom gravy
