Restaurant Review

Anecdotes & Analysis

"Churros" are Cuban beignets, made by extruding a slightly sweet dough and frying the resulting ridged tubes. But that's just the most unusual of this spanking-clean little cafe's offerings, which go on to include a half-dozen different Cuban-style sandwiches (they're a lot like poor boys) and a few daily Cuban plate specials. Also here are gourmet coffees, pastries, and those thick Cuban drinks made with fruits you never heard of.
