A very busy place, sometimes requiring a wait for a table in the company of a fascinating antique music box. As far as I can see, this popularity is due more to mammoth portion sizes than to anything in the way of crispness, just-cooked hotness, or seasoning balance, because in my experience all of those things are at best inconsistent. My problem with this is that there are too many other casual seafood restaurants with better food for me to find this kind of eating appetizing, no matter how much of it Deanie's gives me.
