Artful Palate Cooking Demos, All Summer Fridays At NOMA

Every Friday evening throughout the summer, the chefs of Ralph Brennan's restaurants will offer a series of cooking classes at Cafe NOMA, Ralph's new eatery in the New Orleans Museum of Art in City Park. This is three years of these wildly popular seminars. The demos coordinate with the current exhibit at NOMA: Art In The Spanish American Home, 1492-1898.

July 25: Fish & Chips Comes Full Circle!

August 8: Science of Jerk: Rubbed, Seasoned, Grilled & Roasted

August 22: French Vietnam in NOLA!

September 5: Our Louisiana Cuban: How the Classic Cuban Parallels our Signature Sandwich!

September 19: Moles: The Influence of Mexican Cuisine on Louisiana Cooking
Chef Chris Montero, Cafe NOMA and cafe b

The classes all start at six. After they end, Cafe Noma will remain open to serve dinner. They'll feature $15 wines by the bottle, $5 cocktails and $5 wines by the glass. Sounds like a great evening's entertainment. The classes are free with regular admission to the Museum. (If you're a NOMA member, it will cost you nothing at all.)
