If you haven’t seen the renovations at AVO, here’s a good excuse - the Valentine’s Day only special prix fixe menu of four courses for $67.


First Course choice of Caesar salad with kale and Brussels sprouts, charred broccoli, breadcrumbs and pecorino

Or

Poached Shrimp with avocado, hearts of palm, citrus, chili mint caper vinaigrette


Second Course choice of Fettuccine (cacio e pepe, fava bean) 

Or

Gemelli (octopus, tomato sugo, breadcrumbs)


Third Course choice of Shortrib polenta, mushroom, Chianti jus

Or

Grilled Redfish  (clams, Sardinian couscous, sauce Americaine)


Fourth Course choice of Strawberry Lemon Tart ( pistachio, basil)

Or

Coppetta “Italian Sundae” (vanilla and pistachio gelato, chocolate crunch, butterscotch, fudge sauce)


Avo is a charming Italian bistro helmed by third-generation Chef Nick Lama, who gives proper weight and respect to his Old World roots. This is delicious Sicilian-inspired New Orleans cuisine. The combination of food and vibe here will definitely impress the one you seek to impress on this day for sweethearts.
